Prepare for your appointment

  • First-Timer?

No need to be nervous. We’ll have some time to discuss your skincare concerns and your current routine (15 min).

Please fill out your intake form ahead of your appointment.

After that quick consult, you’ll be given a wrap and allowed to change—this part is optional! The lights will dim and once you’re changed, we’ll analyze your skin and get started. To make things easier, take a photo of your current skin regimen.

  • I'm running late...what do I do?

The grace period for all appointments is 15 minutes. After this point, depending on the original length of your session, it will either be truncated or rescheduled- this will be communicated to you on arrival so there are no surprises! Above all, communication is key. Please text or call and leave a voicemail at (910) 526-0448. Lateness beyond the grace period without communication will result in automatic cancellation and associated fees.

  • I'm not feeling well...should I reschedule?

We all experience illness from time to time. If you are experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness (coughing, phlegm or mucus) I kindly ask that you reschedule . This is for your comfort during the appointment since you’ll be lying down, and for the health and safety of myself and other clients. If you are experiencing an active cold sore or herpetic breakout, you must reschedule until after the lesion is fully healed.

  • Getting a Chemical Peel?!

If you’ve booked an Advanced Chemical Peel (30 min), it’s a bit different from the rest of the menu. Be sure to discontinue the use of any active ingredients such as retinol, AHA/BHA, or any prescription topicals 3-5 days prior to your session. If topicals have been used too close to the session it will alter your treatment and may result in rescheduling.

Additionally, do not schedule any facial waxing, sugaring or threading 3 days prior to your session. Actives and hair removal may not resume until your skin has stopped peeling.

    This is vital!

  • Getting Microchanneling (Collagen Induction Therapy)?

Discontinue the use of any active ingredients such as retinol, AHA/BHA, or any prescription topicals 3-5 days prior to your session.

For Microchanneling on the scalp, please arrive with clean, dry hair without any product. No conditioner, no oils, nothing. This is incredibly important!

Directly after your scalp session, you should not put any tension on your hair for at least 3 days.

  • Getting a Skin Tag/DPN Treatment?

Discontinue the use of any active ingredients such as retinol, AHA/BHA, or any prescription topicals 3-5 days before your session. Actives and hair removal may not resume until 14 days after this service.

Additionally, be sure to plan this appointment around any special events.

  • I have some other appointments around this one...

Please, no waxing, threading, sugaring or straight-razor shaves on the treated area three days before or after your appointment, regardless of the service type.

If you’ve received any laser hair removal, laser resurfacing or injectables including but not limited to botox or dermal filler on/in the treated area, please wait 14 days to schedule any service.

  • I'm still nervous...can you tell me more?

Sure! During treatment, there will be cool and warm water, cool and warm steam, hot towels, tingly products an a bit of pressure during extractions. You'll have an opportunity to take a few deep breaths to help you relax, but you can ask questions or request adjustments at any point during the service.
